The Philmont 2026 Crew will be hosting a Spaghetti dinner at the Brownback’s United Church of Christ located at 640 Ridge Road, Spring City, PA 19475 on Wednesday May 14, 2025.
As part of the fundraising efforts, Troop 127 has organized an open to the public, community spaghetti dinner. The Philmont Crew, a group of seven
Scouts and three adult leaders, will embark upon this excursion in June 2026, and they are currently participating in special training sessions to prepare ourselves for the physical and mental challenges of the trek. The Crew is the first of its kind in Troop 127, and we are proud to blaze the trail for other Scouts in the years to come and to represent our community in North Coventry Township.
The event is scheduled to take place on May 14 at Brownback’s UCC. We are expecting around 300 attendees and aim to raise money to support the Crew’s travel expenses, activities fees, and equipment/gear.
The menu includes spaghetti with a choice of meat sauce or plain red sauce, tossed salad, Italian bread and garlic knots, iced tea, and lemonade. And we’ll have Rita’s water ice for dessert for eat-in guests or mini cannolis for takeout meals.
