Chester County Council

Over 105 years of serving local youth through Scouting

The Chester County Council is the local operation of Scouting America, serving Chester County, Pennsylvania and northern Cecil County, Maryland.  

It has a rich heritage of developing character and leadership skills in youth.  The Chester County Council received its original charter on January 17, 1919. 

The Chester County Council serves nearly 3,500 youth annually through thousands of dedicated, talented volunteers and a small number of professional staff and it partnership with over 80 community organizations to deliver quality Scouting programs.
